Advanced Education for Modern Estheticians

Your license got you in the door. What you learn next decides how far you go.
New treatments enter the market every year. Client expectations rise every year. The estheticians who keep growing their skill set are the ones who keep growing their client list, their prices, and their reputation.
Applied Esthetics Training is hands-on continuing education built by working esthetics professionals — for estheticians who want their next certification to actually change what happens in their treatment room, not just sit in a frame on the wall.

WHITNEY VENABLE

DENA O'NEAL

co-founder / master esthetician / educator

Master Esthetician and educator, based at her studio in North Carolina. Dena's teaching style centers on building real confidence in the treatment room — not just technical correctness, but the judgment to handle whatever walks through the door.

Every Applied Esthetics training is taught by working Master Estheticians — professionals who perform these treatments on real clients every week, not instructors reading from a manufacturer's script.

WHY CHOOSE US?

BECAUSE KNOWING THE STEPS ISN'T THE SAME AS KNOWING THE TREATMENT.

There's a real gap between watching a demonstration online and feeling confident enough to bring a brand-new service into your treatment room with a paying client in the chair. Closing that gap is the entire reason Applied Esthetics Training exists.

LEARN.

Understand the science, the treatment principles, client selection, contraindications, safety, and the why behind every step of the protocol — not just the what.

PRACTICE.

Watch correct technique demonstrated in real time, then build your own hands-on skill under direct guidance until it feels like muscle memory.

PRACTICAL EDUCATION • CURRENT TECHNIQUES • REAL-WORLD APPLICATION

APPLY.

Leave knowing how to translate what you learned into a professional, repeatable treatment experience you can confidently deliver — and charge for — the next day.

FAQs

Answers to common questions about Applied Esthetics Training, continuing education and scope of practice.

Do I need to be a licensed esthetician?

Applied Esthetics trainings are designed for licensed beauty professionals. Eligibility and prerequisites vary by training and by your state's scope-of-practice requirements. Review the prerequisites listed on each individual training page before registering.

Can I take a training if the treatment isn't within my state's scope of practice?

Professional scope varies by license and jurisdiction. Students are responsible for understanding the laws and regulations that apply to their license and location. Completing a course does not, by itself, authorize a professional to perform a service outside their permitted scope.

Does my certificate make me licensed to perform the service?

No. A Certificate of Completion documents that you successfully completed Applied Esthetics training. It does not replace professional licensure or expand what your license legally permits you to perform.
